Come study drawing at Barnes Atelier this summer on this two-week intensive course covering the drawing ethos and methodology of our full-time atelier course. Artists interested in learning the basics of academic drawing as taught by Barnes Atelier instructors, or those looking to improve/brush up on their current level of drawing skills will benefit from this course.
The schedule will include daily work from the plaster cast as well as the life model. Additionally there will be the optional (4) evening portrait drawing sessions where attendees can work alongside the instructor(s) while they demonstrate and produce a work of their own.
Each day there will be (1) tutor providing individual instruction and (1) tutor providing demonstrations.
All materials will be provided for this course.
